Stronger Communities Grants

The Stronger Communities Grant Program is now open. Organisations can apply for grants of up to $20,000, with an electorate-wide cap of $150,000. The aim of the funding is to support local projects, improve community participation, and contribute to vibrant communities. This round of the program is targeted to supporting recovery from the impact of adverse weather events and current economic pressures. To check your eligibility for this grants program, click here.

The program is conducted in two stages. First, organisations across the electorate are invited to express their interest via this form. Then, a committee comprised of community leaders across Higgins will assess the expressions of interest, and a select number of organisations will be invited to formally apply.

EOIs close on 31 March 2023. We will be in touch to advise whether your organisation has been successful soon after 6 April 2023.
